Paving Work In Northborough: I-290 Ramp Closed
Lanes and an on-ramp are closed through the weekend in Northborough to allow for paving work.
NORTHBOROUGH, MA—The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) announced that crews are paving on I-290 westbound in Northborough from approximately 8 p.m., Friday, Sept. 28, through 5 a.m., Monday, Oct. 1.
During this time, the right lane and the breakdown lane will be closed on I-290 westbound throughout this area, and the on-ramp from Church Street to I-290 westbound in Northborough will be closed. Traffic seeking to access I-290 westbound at this location will be directed to a detour route that utilizes the Solomon Pond Interchange.
MassDOT encourages the public to be mindful of these impacts. Those traveling through the area should reduce speed and use caution. The schedule for this work is weather dependent and subject to change without notice.
