The victim was identified as Wendy Hibbard, 55, of Oxford. She appeared to be crossing Main Street when she was hit.

OXFORD — A woman was hit by a car and killed last night at Main Street and Fairlawn Avenue, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.

Oxford Police responded to the crash at about 7:15 p.m. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim was identified as Wendy Hibbard, 55, of Oxford. She appeared to be crossing Main Street when she was hit. No charges have been filed. The name of the driver will not be released at this time.
The crash remains under investigation by Oxford Police, the Central Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council reconstruction team and the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office.
