The Splash Pad and Chauncy Beach Are Opening

It's one of the favorite attractions in Northborough in the summer, and it's opening real soon.

NORTHBOROUGH, MA—The sprinklers and sprayers are set to be turned on for the season.

The Splash Pad is opening on June 18 and remains open through Sept. 4.

Located near the toddler playground at Assabet Park, and sponsored by Northboro Junior Women’s Club, the Splash Pad is one of the most popular spots in Northborough for toddlers and preschoolers.

It offers several different water features such as bubblers, misters, and geysers to delight everyone from babies to preschool-aged kids. Since it is on an asphalt surface, we recommend water shoes to protect sensitive toes. Bring your beach chair and a picnic lunch and enjoy the day while your little ones run and play in the water.

This facility is open to the public for no charge. The Splash Pad will not be open in inclement weather. Don’t forget the water toys.
