Thousands Without Power In Northboro, Westboro

NORTHBORO — Nearly 4,000 in Northborough and some 1,000 in Westborough are still without power Wednesday morning, meaning a day of recovery and restoration following Tropical Storm Isaias.

National Grid does not have an estimated time of restoration but said the outages are still being assessed.

The Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency said 3,891 in Northboro — or 58 percent of National Grid customers — were without power as of 8:30 a.m. In Westborough, 1,065 — or 12 percent of customers were without power.
