Weekend Weather: It's a Mixed Bag for Northborough

NORTHBOROUGH, MA—The area is in for another mixed bag in the weather department this weekend.

A slight chance of showers on Friday night makes way for a partly sunny Saturday, with highs nearing the mid-80s. Sunday, however, rain is likely, with some possible thunderstorms in the afternoon. Next week, too, starts off rainy to make way for a sunny mid-week.

Here's the forecast, according to the National Weather Service:

• Friday night: A slight chance of showers before 10 p.m. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 59.
• Saturday: Patchy fog in the morning. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 83.
• Saturday Night: Chance of showers, mainly after 5 a.m. Low 60.
• Sunday: Rain likely, with thunderstorms also possible after 2 p.m. High near 69.
• Sunday Night: Rain and possibly a thunderstorm before 2 a.m. then a chance of rain and thunderstorms. High 62.
