What's Open, Closed On New Year's Day In Northborough

NORTHBOROUGH, MA—Northborough Town Hall is closed on Monday, Jan. 1, for New Year's Day. There is no trash and recycling pick-up on Monday, Jan. 1, due to the New Year's holiday. Trash and recycling pick-up will again be delayed by one day during that week.

Schools reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 2.

  • Post Office: Closed
  • Restaurants: Open at owner's discretion
  • Retail stores: Open at owner's discretion

  • Banks: Closed
  • Gas stations: Open
  • Movie theaters: Open

The MBTA will be running an altered schedule on New Year's Eve and on a Sunday schedule on New Year's Day.
