2-Alarm Fire At North End Restaurant Trattoria Il Panino
Firefighters were called to Trattoria Il Panino for a fire Saturday evening.
NORTH END, MA — Boston firefighters put out a two-alarm fire in a restaurant on Hanover Street Saturday night, and no one was injured.
Crews were called to 280 Hanover St, for a kitchen fire on the first floor of the five story building where Trattoria Il Panino is situated. When they arrived just before 6 p.m., firefighters saw flames in the kitchen and ordered a second alarm.
Although there are apartments over the restaurant, fire officials said they happened to be vacant and undergoing renovation.
