5 Things: Plan Ahead, Getting Our Newsletter

Holiday: Monday is Presidents’ Day. Students are on vacation for the entire week. Many people have the day off from work. Do you have plans? You can always take a walk along the waterfront or up and down Hanover Street where many restaurants will be open.

Shop: Get ready for the weekend early. Some shops may be closed on Monday so, if you need anything, go today.

Do your errands: Have you run out of fruit, meat or coffee? You can find those things on Parmenter Street.

This day in history: On February 15, 1965, Canada adopted the maple leaf flag.
