5 Things: Valentine’s Day, Getting Our Newsletter

Children: The North End Library, located at 25 Parmenter Street, offers Valentine’s Day Bingo from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for children ages five years old and up.

Meeting: The North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association meets from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Nazzaro Center, 30 North Bennet Street.

Good food for Valentine’s Day: If you find yourself in the neighborhood today, go out to dinner anywhere in the neighborhood. One place to try (or return to) is Ristorante Fiore located at 250 Hanover Street.

This day in history: On February 14, 1977, the B-52’s had a worldwide debut at a Valentine’s Day house party in Athens, Georgia.
