A Tidy Barber Shop

The North End is a vibrant community with lots of restaurants, cafes, businesses and interesting residents.

There are a number of barbershops we’ve visited but only one where we captured the owner on film.

Gino Colafella, who owns Johnny & Gino at 430 Hanover Street, showed us around the shop and described what goes on inside, how he became interested in being a barber, his background and why he loves his work.

Gino showed us the tools he uses for styling hair and how he keeps the shop immaculate for customers.
