A Welcome Note from Your New North End Patch Editor
Susan Danseyar is now working as the new Assistant Editor for North End Patch.

Exactly two weeks ago, I began a new venture as the Assistant Editor of North End Patch.
Second to marrying my husband, I now know it was the best decision I’ve ever made to come here.
In the past 14 days I’ve met the warmest people who have welcomed me with interesting tips, advice and information about this vibrant and historical neighborhood.

And I’m looking forward to learning more about the North End, meeting you all and helping you feel even prouder of your community.
Prior to September 4 when I started working here, I was a writer for a sister Patch site in Belmont. I’ve been a community journalist for many years and made the commitment to stay in the field for one reason. It gives me tremendous joy to tell the stories that make a neighborhood unique.

The North End Patch is not an online newspaper. Rather, it is a spot for all neighborhood content, conversation and commerce.
You, the readers, are part of your community Patch. It’s a place for anyone living or working in the North End to post announcements about upcoming events, blog in your field of expertise or interest and comment on any story you see on the site.
Participate in any way you want. If you need assistance, I’ll help get you started so just ask.
And get in touch with me whenever you have ideas of things I should know, write about and photograph by contacting me at Susan.danseyar@patch.com
Together, we will let our neighbors and those who are new to the area know what a privilege it is to live and work in the North End.
