ACQUIRE: Custom-Made Cotton-Blend Throws

Located at 61 Salem Street, the shop sells home furnishings, handbags and jewelry.

Owner Nikki Dalrymple opened the boutique in 2008.

Nikki was a television producer for about 12 years but, after moving to Boston in 2004, realized she was no longer interested in pursuing a television career and her heart was really in design.

The perfect spot for her to open a shop was right here.

“I’m an ex-New Yorker and the North End had a mix of old and new and that resonated with me,” she said. “We carry a mix of vintage and modern home accessories and gifts.”

Nikki – a self-trained designer -- particularly likes the cotton-blend throws that are custom made for her boutique.
