After Arson In North End, Boston Police Look For 2 In Connection

Police released images of two people they say they believe are connected to an arson on Hanover Street this weekend.

NORTH END, MA — Police are asking for the community's help in finding suspected arsonists after a fire broke out near 241 Hanover Street this weekend. Police released images of two people they say could be connected to arson there.

Detectives are looking to identify a man described as white Hispanic with multiple tattoos in his neck and shoulder area and a woman with dark hair, the image of her show her wearing light colored shorts and a dark shirt.

Just after 5 a.m. on Saturday, July 20, someone called to report a fire on Hanover Street. When police got there, witnesses told them they saw a gasoline ignited fire on Board Alley next to 241 Hanover Street. The firefighters were able to extinguish the flames, and officers searched the area for the suspects to no avail.
