Boston Girl Scout Volunteer Sarah Fullerton Honored
Sarah Fullerton of Boston awarded Girl Scouts Appreciation Pin.

Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts (GSEMA) was pleased to recognize Sarah Fullerton of Boston for her service to girls and the community with the Girl Scouts Appreciation Pin. The award was presented at GSEMA’s annual Volunteer Recognition Luncheon on April 28, 2018, at the Sheraton Hotel in Framingham. Approximately 90 individuals and four service units (a group of volunteers representing a town or several towns) from across eastern Massachusetts, as well our museum volunteer team, were recognized for their service.
The Girl Scouts Appreciation Pin recognizes a registered adult Girl Scout’s exemplary service in support of delivering the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. Fullerton’s service to the city of Boston was deemed to have had a measurable impact, helping reach and surpass Girl Scout Mission goals for the area.
“Our volunteers are the heartbeat of our organization, and it is truly an honor to celebrate them,” said Denise Burgess, Chief Executive Officer, Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts. “We are fortunate to partner with 15,000 passionate, dedicated, and caring individuals, who believe so deeply in our mission to build girls of courage, confidence, and character and make the world a better place, that they devote extraordinary amounts of time and energy as Girl Scout volunteers.”
