'Boston Winter' Closes For High Winds
High wind warnings, sub-zero temps shutter City Hall Plaza holiday village and skating installation.
BOSTON, MA — The city's Boston Winter skating path and holiday shopping village has been shuttered to wait out the oncoming freeze and wind hitting Boston Thursday into Friday.
No word yet on Friday, but for Thursday night, Boston Winter is closing down early.
It posted on Twitter: "Due to high winds, we will be closing at 4pm today, 12/15. Please plan accordingly and stay warm!!"
