BRA Approved Retail Tower Behind TD Garden

The project will provide housing on Nashua Street.

The area around North Station will be getting a facelift now that the Boston Redevelopment Authority on February 14 unanimously approved construction of a 38-story residential tower behind the TD Garden.

According to the Boston Globe, part of the plan is for a 32-story Nashua Street Residences that will bring over 500 residential units and a two-story public, retail colonnade to the area around North Station.

The project site is bounded by Nashua Street, Partners Healthcare, North Station and the Thomas P. O’Neill Federal Building.  Units will include a mix of studios, one-bedrooms, two-bedrooms and 32 three-bedroom units.  The Residences will also include 219 parking spaces.
