Esposito is the creator and host of “Ciao Italia” on PBS and will be in the North End on Saturday, Aug. 24 to provide in interactive cooking demonstrations and recipe sharing. The session will be held at 2 p.m. at the festival’s Filippo Berio Culinary Stage.
“As a little girl growing up in Depew, New York, Maryann watched her two Italian grandmothers create wonderful Italian dishes. Both nonnas, one Sicilian and one Neapolitan, instilled in Mary Ann a deep appreciation for Italian food and culture. It is this affection for all things Italian that Mary Ann shares with her television audience and now with you at this year’s Saint Anthony’s Feast,” a press release states.
