Concert on the Greenway, Free Friday at the Boston ICA

Deadlines, events and other items you should know about on Aug. 16 in the North End.

1. Mostly sunny: Friday, Aug. 16 will be mostly sunny with a high near 79 and a low around 63, according to the National Weather Service. Weekend forecast: Saturday will be mostly cloudy and Sunday will be mostly sunny with highs near 80 and lows around 61-62.

2. Preschool story time: Preschool age kids can drop by the North End Branch Library (25 Parmenter St.) on Friday, Aug. 16 at 10:30 a.m. for a free story time.

3. Music and Movie Fridays: Revisit Hollywood’s silver screen and modern classics with a great lineup of movies every Friday night against the backdrop of the starlit harbor at the Boston Harbor Hotel (70 Rowes Wharf), part of the Summer in the City Entertainment Series. 4. Greenway concert: The Berklee College of Music is bringing free summer concerts to the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway on Friday evenings throughout August. B’Major will perform on Aug. 16. Concerts are free and begin at 6 p.m. at the North End Park (46 Cross St.). Learn more at berklee.edu/events/summer.

5. Free Fridays: Admission to the USS Constitution Museum will be free on Friday, Aug. 16, part of the Free Fun Fridays program sponsored by Highland Street Foundation. Admission is also free Friday at the Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston.
