Trinity Financial has announced a deal with to construct One Canal Street, a 12-story residential building located next to TD Garden, and across the greenway from the North End. The deal, struck with the massachusetts Department of Transportation, will rise on parcels of land freed up by buring the central artery underground.
According to a press release published by boston.com, the project will feature ground level retail, including space for a supermarket, though no deal with a supermarket chain was included in the announcement.
The project will include 310 residential units and 147 parking spaces, according to the announcement
