Dog Found In Tip O’Neill Tunnel Reunited With Owner
A huskey named Sky got away from her owner Thursday night and wound up hanging out with some firefighters.

BOSTON, MA — A husky was found wandering loose in the North End after a jaunt in the Tip O’Neill Tunnel Thursday night is safe, thanks to a quick thinking woman and some Boston firefighters in the North End.
Firefighters say a driver saw the dog in the tunnel and followed it to the North End where she told them about it during the Sox game. They leaped into action and corralled the dog and took her into the station. Someone tweeted a photo of the pup in the hopes the owner would recognize her.
And it worked. The owner arrived about two hours later to pick up her dog, Sky, who she said got away from her while on a walk earlier.

“We were just watching the Sox game around 9 o’clock and a woman came banging on the door,” firefighter Ryan Ross told Channel 7. “And this beautiful little girl was running up and down the middle of the street. I was able to wrangle her with some treats, and our neighbor across the street gave us a leash.”
Owner & “Sky” have been reunited. Thank you @bostonpolice for escorting the owner to the firehouse & thank you to everyone who assisted with this reunion. pic.twitter.com/WmQCeeJRaf
