Enter North End Patch’s Pet Caption Contest

Starting this week, North End Patch will begin a series called “Find the Best Caption.”

We’ll post photos of animals and ask you to offer suggestions of a clever caption to match the picture. You can be silly, ironic, and intellectual – whatever strikes your fancy. The one thing we ask is that you refrain from violent or nasty words (even if they seem funny to you) because we are animal lovers.

How does it work? You just insert your caption in the Comment section.

And, since a contest is not as much fun unless there is a prize, we will review the entries and then take the winning caption (along with accompanying photo) and post it on the North End’s Facebook page.

We’ll start you off with a sample caption for this week.

“Are you a good witch or a bad witch?” “I’m not a witch at all!”

Surely, you can do better than that.
