Fabrizia Di Lorenzo, Woman With North End Ties, Confirmed Dead in Berlin attack

BOSTON — Fabrizia Di Lorenzo, 31 was shopping for Christmas when she became one of the 12 victims of a terrorist attack in Berlin.

A truck plowed through a Christmas market Monday afternoon, and Italy's foreign minister Angelino Alfanoconfirmed her death on Thursday, according to Fox 25. Di Lorenzo's relatives own the Lucia Restaurant in the North End. Di Lorenzo was from the Central Italian town Sulmona.

Her cousin was searching for Di Lorenzo earlier this week on social media.
