Feeling Peppy Today?

You’re on lunch hour – or your way home – and hear tantalizing beats coming from a boom box. Could it be the same old street performers you’ve become accustomed to seeing in this neighborhood?

Not at all. You Already Know (YAK) dancers can take your breath away with their toprocks, downrocks, freezes and power moves.

They chat with the onlookers, make jokes and engage the audience. At the end of their performance, one of the dancers jumps over several of the people he hand-picks from the crowd.

Maybe you can imitate their moves (at the back of the crowd). Or, like most of us, just enjoy the dancers' athleticism every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the corner of North and Congress streets.
