Haunted Houses And Kitchen Nightmares

What a nightmare: Tonight, at 8:00 p.m., La Galleria 33 on Salem Street will be featured in the first episode of a two-part series of Fox's 'Kitchen Nightmares."

Scary House: The  Haunted House Carnival takes place at the Nazzaro Playground from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Features of the event include a haunted house, free pumpkin patch, super slide, moon walk, Regina’s pizza, face painting, pumpkin carving, hot chocolates and snacks.

Shop local: Italian Heritage Month is almost over. Celebrate by buying something good to eat from Salumeria Italiana on Richmond Street.

Halloween crafts for kids: The North End Library on Parmenter Street offers an activity from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. for children ages 2 and older to make a spider, black hat or candy corn man.
