Honor Veterans Who Fought For Our Country

Here is the news for what's happening in the North End.

It’s Veteran’s Day: Celebrate from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the USS Constitution Museum. Honor our nation’s veterans.

Street cleaning: None today (although overnight from 12:01 a.m. until 7:00 a.m. will take place). Meters are free and the tow lot is closed until 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday.

Relax and leave it to us: It’s a holiday but the news carries on. North End Patch is working today. We’ll see you in the neighborhood.

This Day in History:  On November 12, 1954, the doors to Ellis Island were shut. An estimated 40 percent of Americans can trace their roots through the island located in New York Harbor.
