Honoring Veterans In North End

Project developer for a plaque right next to Tony DeMarco's statue talks about his father who is a veteran.

Here in the North End, however, many people were werking.

Shaun Carvelli, project manager for DCL Boston, was overseeing two men digging right next to the statue for Tony DeMarco.

We discussed how many people do work on Veterans' Day and Shaun mentioned his father is a veteran. Albert Carvelli fought in Viet Nam. He was a pilot.

Thank you for your service, Albert. We are relieved you made it home.

And, once again, we will never forget all who did not return. They sacrificed their lives for our freedom and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
