Hurricane Readiness, Party Dresses on Fleet Street

We’re all taking about Hurricane Sandy.

Will she hit the North End hard? Or will we be spared the heavy winds and rain?

Just in case: Be prepared with flashlights, cash (if power is down, ATM machines won’t work), groceries and first-aid materials.

Hopefully, you won’t need all the provisions but better to be safe than sorry.

In totally different news: North End women are lucky to have so many beautiful boutiques right in their neighborhood.

Twilight, on Fleet Street, offers fashions for all ages and occasions.

One of the best parts of going into the shop is it’s so pretty and owner Alison Barnard is extremely helpful.

She doesn’t carry jeans. But there’s a reason for that.

Alison owns another shop on Hanover Street – In-jean-ius – that specializes in helping every woman find the perfect fit.

Politics are keeping us all occupied. We’re closely watching the U.S. Senate race between Elizabeth Warren and Scott Brown as much as the presidential one. See you at the polls on Tuesday, November 6.
