Magnolia Bakery Opens At Faneuil Hall With Freebies Thursday
Magnolia Bakery is giving away some of its free pudding for the first folks to buy anything in the shop each day this week.

BOSTON, MA — It's official: New York City's Magnolia Bakery, known for its fresh baked American desserts (and its cameo on Sex and the City) will be opening at Quincy Market at Faneuil Hall Thursday, March 29 at 10 a.m.
To celebrate, the shop is giving away 50 Boston Cream Pie Banana Puddings to the first 50 people who make a purchase for the first week March 29 thru April 5.
Although "Sex and the City," put a Hollywood-sized spotlight on the New York City bakery's cupcakes, Magnolia Bakery is known for its Banana Pudding. And Bobbie Lloyd, Magnolia Bakery's Chief Baking Officer with Brookline ties, developed the Boston Cream version just for this spot.

The newest shop will be the first in New England, according to the bakery. The space is about 1,100 square feet features a coffee counter with seven stools where visitors can hang out with their coffee and desserts.
The bakery will of course offer a host of handmade cupcakes, cookies, cheesecakes, cakes, pies, icebox desserts.
