Man Stuck, Killed by MBTA Train
A man who was pinned beneath a Red Line train for over an hour on Monday has died.

One man is dead after he became pinned beneath a Red Line train on Monday afternoon, according to the Boston Fire Department.
Emergency officials responded to the JFK MBTA station just after 2:30 p.m. for reports of a person stuck under a train. Officials say the man became pinned after he was struck by a train on the Braintree line.

Upon arrival at the scene, a recovery operation was launched in an effort to free the victim. The man was pinned under the inbound train for over an hour. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Buses are being used in place of trains at the station. Lengthy delays have been reported.

It’s not known how the victim ended up on the train tracks.
