North End Lights Up

The North End Beautification Committee sponsored their annual Christmas tree event.

The Christmas tree, at the corner of Cross and Hanover streets, was bright and alive on Friday night in the North End.

Families with children came by to see Santa Claus who rode up in his sleigh. Tourists, residents and other people who just happened to be in the neighborhood also looked on with interest.

The North End Beautification Committee – with four chair members – offered food, beverages and holiday cheer.

“We would like this to be a year-long program of beautification by enlisting property owners, businesses and residents to make a commitment to enhance the North End.”

Patricia -- along with Dave Grant, Allison Seavey, Stephen Passancantilli – are the chairs of the committee.

“We hope to expand the group,” Patricia said.
