Sandy, Brown Visit North End

We began the week making hurricane preparations.

Sandy hit us on Monday with heavy rain and wind. But North End residents were so brave that the city couldn't praise them enough.

We drew a deep breath on Tuesday when the sun was out, off and on.

People went about their business. North End Patch featured an Atlantic Avenue salon and an artist moving her shop to Fleet Street. 

On Friday, Scott Brown made a campaign stop here in the North End. Hanover Street was packed with supporters as well as sign-holders for Elizabeth Warren.
