Scott Brown, State of the City Address

There were a lot of comments on North End Patch this week.

Scott Brown ended speculation Friday afternoon as to whether he would run for U.S. Senate, announcing that he is not entering the race for the seat left vacant by John Kerry’s confirmation to the post of Secretary of State. 

Soon after the story was posted, Southender had this to say:

“Fantastic!! I didn't want to have to watch his BS for another six months. I hope he focuses on the Law and gives up politics. What a J***”

On January 30, Mayor Thomas Menino delivered an optimistic and ambitious state of the city address Tuesday night, offering broad outlines for improving schools, achieving pay equity for women and workforce development through partnerships between MIT, Harvard University and city community centers. 

We asked do you think the mayor laid out his platform for another term, or was it his valedictory after 20 years in office?

Savannah Stewart said: “What costs $100 million, electtomdooley?”

Bob Samson added:

“No, neither the City nor the State.”
