Stabbing Victim Finds Help From New Officers

Now Boston Police are looking into the incident.

BOSTON, MA — Some new Boston Police officers helped stabilize a stabbing victim whose condition appeared "grave."

Police said that officers working traffic detail at TD Garden early Saturday evening saw a man suffering from an apparent stab wound. The victim, a 36-year-old male, was bleeding from the leg. The young officers, who graduated from the police academy less than two weeks ago, applied a tourniquet and contacted EMS.

The victim was transported to a hospital and is now in stabled condition, police said.
