Sunglasses, Coffee and a Restaurant

It was a busy week in the North End. Christmas is over but New Year’s is rapidly approaching.

Tourists, businesses people and residents were out and about on December 26 (Boxing Day) having coffee at Modern Pastry Shop, located at 257 Hanover Street.

One woman sitting there (relaxing) was Claudia Spagnuolo.

She invited North End Patch into her restaurant – La Famiglia Spagnuolo’s – right across the street at 240 Hanover Street.

Just before that, Joe Griffiths, manager of Sol Optics, located at 329 Hanover Street, let us into the shop to look at the sunglasses. The shop is open every day from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
