The Boston Globe published an article this morning detailing how police are sometimes performing a balancing act to keep everyone pleased. Long-time residents are frustrated with the loud parties and revelry of the younger crowd. The college kids and young professionals, however, bring dollars and panache to the neighborhood, making the North End one of the trendiest and desirable areas in Boston.
