TELL US: Do You Play Chess? If So, What Do You Enjoy About It?

The ancient game helps people learn strategic thinking.

The origins of chess are unknown.

But it's been around for about 1,500 years and is still popular.

We even use terms from the game in our everyday language: checkmate and stalemate.

Today, kids ages 7-14 will be attending Chess Club at the North End Library. The children's librarian is learning the game from these young people.
