On Thursday, we started to hear about the blizzard that was predicted to be of historic proportions.

State officials announced that the MBTA, bus and commuter rail service would stop in the middle of the afternoon on Friday.

Governor Deval Patrick told all residents to stay inside.

Without a way to get to the North End (other than flying on a broom), we still are thinking about the residents and businesses and hope everyone is OK.
