Avon Beauty Center Open House Sept. 1

The Avon Beauty Center opening on Main Street is having an open house on Sept. 1. 

Stoneham resident Diana Cavanaugh and her husband Ryan are opening an Avon Beauty Center in town. The new shop will be located next to Advanced Photo.

The store will carry most of the Avon line, including makeup, skin care, body products and perfume, but if you'd like to purchase something that you can't find in stock simply order it from the catalog and pick it up in store. The charge for that is only 75 cents.

The store will stock other non-Avon items including glycerin soaps from Primal Elements, Burts Bees products, jewelry and more. She also has Woodwick candles, a customer favorite since "they crackle when they burn."

Most of the work is complete inside the store and the furniture and product is moved in. They are just setting the shelves and completing other finishing touches, Cavanaugh said. 

There will be an open house on Sunday, Sept. 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The phone number is 978-664-8080, customers are welcome to call for more information.

"We actually had a customer come to the door today and buy something so if we are here and someone needs something, they can grab it," she said.
