A Christmas Story, the Musical Comes to North Reading

Special opportunity to meet some of the stars of the original movie on opening night.

Don’t miss the fabulous celebration of family and holiday spirit with the North Reading High School Masquers as they perform “A Christmas Story, the Musical.”

The Tony-award winning musical, based on the classic 1983 film, will light up the NRHS Performing Arts Center’s stage Friday, Dec. 4 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 5 at 4:00 p.m.; Friday, Dec. 11 at 7:30 p.m.; and Saturday, Dec. 12 at 4:00 p.m.

To add to the fun, original cast members of the 1983 classic Christmas Story film will join the audience at the Friday, Dec. 4 performance only.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for students, and $10 for senior citizens.

A limited number of Special Comic Con Premium tickets for $25 are available for the Friday, Dec. 4 performance only. (Regular price tickets are also available Dec. 4). Patrons purchasing the Premium Comic Con ticket package will receive a one-day pass (valued at up to $40) toNortheast Comic Con at Shriners’ Auditorium in Wilmington, runningDec. 5 and Dec. 6, and a premium seat opening night (valued at up to $15).

This year tickets are available three ways:

  • Online at www.masquers.weebly.com.
  • Drop by the NRHS Performing Arts Center box office any Monday, 6 p.m.-8 p.m. (cash or check only; no credit or debit cards).
  • Complete a form and leave payment at the NRHS Main Office during school hours (exact cash or check only).

“A Christmas Story” features North Reading students grades 4-12 under the direction of the NRHS Masquers’ club.
