Community Impact Team Announces Good Neighbor Awards

Nominees were received from the community this past summer.

The North Reading Community Impact Team is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2019 Good Neighbor Awards. Janet Chiovoloni, Joe Polino, and John Croswell were all nominated by local residents in acknowledgement of their kind acts, commitment to the community, and positivity they bring to neighbors’ loves. Awards were presented this past August at the CIT Annual Breakfast at the O’Leary Senior Center. Mr. Polino was unable to make the event, but will be presented the award soon. The recipients were nominated following a public call for nominees and voting by the CIT’s Board of Directors. Social Services Action Team member Mary Prenney commented, “We wanted to make sure we recognize individuals, of all ages, who really impact their local community. This is a simple way to acknowledge their work and efforts.”
