Jennifer Lawrence Movie Filming on Three Days This Week

The Jennifer Lawrence/Bradley Cooper/Robert DeNiro movie “Kay’s Baptism,” aka “Joy,” will be filming at the same Winter Street garage on Wednesday through Friday this week.

The North Reading Police Department announced that the shooting will close Winter Street from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11 to Friday, March 13. The road will be closed at Winter and Park streets as well as Winter and Main streets.

Local residents and businesses will be able to access Winter Street at Winter and Park streets.

“The Police Department will be onsite to assist with traffic flow. Detour signs and digital displays will be posted a week in advance notifying the public and providing alternate routes. The Police Department is urging all residents and business owners to seek alternate routes during these times. Motorists can expect delays,” said North Reading Police.
