Major North Reading Intersection Closed

NORTH READING, MA — The intersection at Main and North streets is closed after a truck struck the traffic lights. The lights are hanging low, and crews are responding to repair, North Reading Police said.

Police expect heavy delays throughout the evening commute, and are asking motorists to avoid the area. If you are trying to get to I-93 you should use Lowell Road/Route 62, police said.
