No Filming on Monday After All

Those hoping to catch a glimpse at Jennifer Lawrence will likely not get their chance next week.

North Reading Police announced on Thursday that filming of “Joy” aka “Kay’s Baptism” will not take place next Monday as previously announced.

Police said there could be other filming dates in the future.

Filming will take place at the old garage next to Heav’nly Donuts.

The film stars Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper and Robert DeNiro. They have been filming in Wilmington and North Reading over the past month. The Winter Street garage has been transformed into a Hollywood set.
