NORTH READING, MA — The Reading-North Reading Chamber of Commerce’s 14th Annual Holiday Lighting Festival will take place on Sunday from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on North Reading’s Town Common, and it promises to be another banner year filled with family-friendly entertainment! Parking is at the Batch school and a trolley will transport guests to the common and the Reading Cooperative Bank.

The celebration will include Santa photos at the North Reading Cooperative Bank — the chamber recommends attendees plan to come early to avoid lines. The first 500 families will receive a free,
re-useable grocery tote, perfect to stow in the car as North Reading will be banning plastic bags as of January 1, 2020. Limit to one bag per family.

The fun continues with tractor and trolley rides, live ice sculpture demonstration, a balloon twister entertainer, pony rides, great food (bring cash for snacks), and performances by the North Reading High School Band and other local dance and karate studios.
