North Reading Moms Open "Mommy Clubhouse" in West Peabody

A Mom’s Village, the North Shore’s premiere ‘Mommy Clubhouse,’ will open its highly anticipated and permanent 7,600 square foot location on Wednesday, May 1. With a mission to make the demands of motherhood easier, this family forward, mom-sanctuary serves mothers and children alike with revolutionary amenities, from fitness to children’s enrichment classes to childcare. A Mom’s Village is located within Big Y Plaza, along the Independence Greenway and directly across from Crystal Pond at 637 Lowell Street in West Peabody.

Mothers and North Reading residents Cindy Solomon and Stephanie Keohan, first opened A Mom’s Village in late 2016 in Wakefield before growing into their temporary space at Big Y Plaza. In just two short years, they have created a loyal following and a veritable mom paradise.

The new and permanent A Mom’s Village at Big Y Plaza will offer a bevvy of amenities, including two fitness studios, multiple childcare rooms (including a babies only childcare room), a mommy lounge, a locker room, enrichment classrooms, convenient stroller parking and family restrooms.

Taking care of mothers’ physical and mental health, A Mom’s Village offers ample opportunity for decompression and rejuvenation with mommyTIME in the Mommy Lounge or at Big Y Plaza’s fantastic mix of local and national retailers. During mommyTIME, little ones are lovingly looked after by certified professionals while mothers enjoy everything from their very own nap to coffee, WIFI and showers within A Mom’s Village, or enjoy solo time offsite. The convenience of A Mom’s Village location within Big Y Plaza allows for mothers to easily meet a variety of needs – including grocery shopping at Big Y World Class Market, manicures at Nails & Co Spa, or gathering with friends at Lupos Restaurant. Should time still be short, a mommyCONCIERGE is also available to members of A Mom’s Village, providing lunch and dinner meal options.

Fitness classes, offered seven days a week, include barre, yoga, cardio kickboxing and a bootcamp style strength and conditioning workout. Classes are designed for all levels and end with an inspirational “Mama-vasana”, a moment to pause and reflect on accomplishments both inside the studio and out.

Childcare, led by a talented team of certified professionals, is provided during all fitness classes in clean, bright play spaces that feature CedarWorks playsets, light tables with Magnatiles, imaginative play zones, Melissa & Doug toys and puzzles, as well as books for story time.
