North Reading Resident Competes at Miss Boston/ Miss Cambridge 2015 Pageant

{Boston, MA – January 19, 2015} North Reading resident, Sabrina Ponte, will be competing at the Miss Boston/ Cambridge pageant on Sunday, February 8 at 5pm at the Sheraton Boston Hotel located at 39 Dalton St, Boston, MA 02199.

Sabrina is a new undergrad at UMass Lowell, and resides in North Reading, MA; her platform is “Project Paws: Helping Hands for Needy Paws,” and she will be performing a classical vocal as her talent.

The Miss Boston and Miss Cambridge Pageant is an official preliminary to the Miss Massachusetts and Miss America pageants. The young women who are crowned Miss Boston 2015 and Miss Cambridge 2015 will each receive a $1,500 academic scholarship, a scholarship & prize package worth over $10,000, and will have a variety of opportunities to raise awareness and affect change for social issues that are important to them. They also compete in the Miss Massachusetts Pageant in June at the Hanover Theatre. Contestants ages 17-24 will compete in a private interview, lifestyle & fitness (swimsuit), talent, on-stage question, and evening-wear.
