Joe Capalbo's family gathers to congratulate him after his virtual half-marathon fundraiser
Joe Capalbo, General Manager of the Kimpton Marlowe Hotel in Cambridge and a resident of North Reading, recently ran a virtual half-marathon to help fight cancer. Inspired by the running program he created for the Kimpton Marlowe Hotel, called #RunWithTheGM where he regularly runs with guests staying at the hotel, Joe raised more than $7,000.00 to support Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The funds Joe raised, along with his team of donors, will help fund active clinical trials each year, offer personalized support and resources for patients and their loved ones, and support state-of-the-art facilities that bring effective treatments to patients quickly. Joe graciously thanks all of his friends and neighbors for supporting his fundraising virtual run.
