Open House Planned at Putnam House
Stop by one of North Reading's most historic buildings and browse the North Reading Historical and Antiquarian Society's merchandise.

The North Reading Historical and Antiquarian Society will host an open house at the Rev. Daniel Putnam House over the next two weekends.
The 300-year-old home at 27 Bow St., will be open to the public from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturdays, Dec. 6 and 13 and Sundays, Dec. 7 and 14.

The home is dressed up for Christmas with festive displays and a Christmas trees. The giant dollhouse is also on display. The dollhouse has become a holiday tradition and a favorite for youngsters who stop by the Putnam House.
While you’re at the Putnam House, you can peruse the society’s North Reading merchandise. Items include Christmas ornaments (including the new North Reading High school ornament), shirts, books and rugs. They all make great Christmas gifts for people still living in town or those who have moved to other parts of the country.
