70-Year-Old Stop & Shop Worker Dies In North Reading Crash
The pedestrian was hit by an SUV and died of their injuries.
NORTH READING, MA — A pedestrian was hit by an SUV in North Reading on Thursday morning near 270 Main Street. The woman was identified as Marianne Quam, 70, of North Reading — she was an employee of the Stop & Shop nearby. She died of their injuries, according to police.
The driver of the SUV stayed at the scene, no charges were filed.
