Pottery Painting for Kids
Kids can create their own Shabbat candlesticks and Kiddush cup!

Are you an unaffiliated Jewish family living in the Merrimack Valley, who would like to enhance your connection to the Jewish community and your home observance of Shabbat? Do you have a child between the ages of four and seven? Would you enjoy creating beautiful pottery for your home together with your child? Do you love a bargain?
If the answer to all of these questions is “yes,” you are encouraged to join the staffs of Congregation Beth Israel Religious School and “Look What I Made – Paint Your Own Pottery” as we offer you the opportunity to paint a Kiddush cup and Shabbat candlesticks for your home. Parents and children are invited to work together to create beautiful hand painted objects that your families can use and treasure for years to come. Painting sessions will be held on Thursdays, March 12 and 26 from 4 – 5:30 PM at “Look What I Made,” 4 Lowell Road, North Reading, MA 01864.
These items are a $60 value that can be yours for only $18. This program is subsidized by a grant from the Merrimack Valley Jewish Federation and a matching grant from a private donor. Space is limited to ten families. Reserve your spot today with Esther Kaufman, Congregation Beth Israel Religious School Principal by emailing eddirector@bethisraelmv.org.
